I cannot imagine the pain Of losing a child on a Shot-down flight Who innocently asked the day Before, "where do we all go when we have extinguished our light" I cannot imagine the pain Of having a loved one with A chronic disease That eats both of you slowly And God will only give relief When and as He please I cannot imagine the pain Of a victim of a horrific crime Who was minding their own business Who was following rules of society Yet was somehow at the Wrong place and at the wrong time I cannot imagine the pain Of those who lost everything at once Who was happy one day And next day everything changes And is left feeling like a dunce I cannot imagine the pain Of those who's future is so bleak They look out the window They see nothingness The dullness puts them into A long, endless sleep
