very happy to see such posts in IL! thanks for sharing!

I am also blessed with the most amazing in-laws in the world...they were with me for 2 months in US while I had a big surgery...they did everything from cooking to cleaning to even pressing my legs...and not to forget the love they showered on me throughout...I was very sad and in tears like u when they left... my in-laws are one of the kindest and most honest people I have met in my life...I am so proud to be their DIL! :)

God bless u and your family! :)

    Dear Rose,

Its not just your in laws who are nice, but you too are very nice to see and appreciate the niceness in them!

Many will find faults with their in laws behaviour and overlook the pains they take to help you out with your child and home.

    Lovely roses...I love yellow roses.

I remember the first time my in laws had come. When they left.....I cried at the railway station.(real tears...not tears of joy:))My embarrassed husband gave me one stern look and said..."so much drama!!!!"notdonesmiley

The subsequent visits unfortunately went downhill.

wow such a nice post n really felt happy ..
It's been 4 years I came to USA when I have attended my first get together I saw the ladies expressing their prob with their in laws .i said my aunt is very nice n treats me like daughter . Every body laughed at me like am just married will know in future ..when am pregnant my parents don't have visa so my mil came .. Every body told like I won't feel comfortable ask your parents to come.. I never argued with my husband my mil came n took care of me my baby every thing .. Even my Doc thought she is my mother.. She asked all the details about how pregnancy is going .. She supported me when I felt stop working ..she calls me every day even my parents calls alternative days she says she can't sleep without hearing me n baby voice .. When we visited India she never let me to go in kitchen ..I felt really guilty some times not helping her but really she won't let me to cook..we speak hours every day don't know what.. Every body thinks we r mother n daughter .. When she left India I cried like any thing else she recalled like I dint cry when am coming to US first time.. But once she left I felt lonely .. I miss her very much .. I love my Attayya ..
