Hi, My husband's too does not have his name, for 40+ yrs. Witsend, you know, we did not notice this until we applied for a visa. The authorities asked him for his parents' passport to verify their name.
That's strange. I have all the details like my name, hospital , etc.in my birth certificate which I got from municipality in India . If there is no name what is the use. I feel that you should contact the municipality or corporation or village office and apply again for certificate. Now it is easy to get birth certificate in India, I think.
