I don't like the new forum

    Anyone else does not like the new forum. It just feels like a very heavy browser, does not open at work, chokes on my home computer and is not easy and light like the previous one. Harder to navigate around too. Please bring back the older version.

    Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback here.

    We need more details to see exactly what are the kind of issues you are facing in this newer version. So that we can either fix the issues at our end, or guide you to change a few things at your end, to make things easier for you.

    Lastly, changes are always initially hard, you might agree. But once we get thro' it, we will start liking them much better than the old ones :) Hope you will work with us to make this easier for you as well as many others here.

    These are the details we need (feel free to PM Induslady, IL_Admin):
    1. What do you mean exactly by heavy browser? Takes more time to load?
    2. At work, what browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome) and version are you using? What operating system (Windows 7, Windows 8, etc.)?
    3. What do you mean by chokes on your home computer? Freezes, hangs? Page not found error? What kind of Internet connection do you have at home? Wireless/Broadband, etc.

    Please can you explain what you mena by "eating extra data on my tab"?
    Does the links you click to navigate thro' the site, open in different tabs in your browser, instead of displaying within the same tab?

    to be frank the loading become late.. and needs more data than before.. which means this time more java programing used i guess.. :confused2:

    but over all not at all a problem.. thanks for updating all time :)

    I too agree, its not user friendly as the older version. lot of unnecessary stuff on the home page, no direct links for sub forums and lot of navigation.

    Sorry but I felt this way.

    me too agree...older one was better..She i am in IT field, adopting new form of any application is not a problem for me. Few issues what I face -

    Some time it opens or some time says Server is overloaded.

    When you search any thing, can not navigate to any other page as page navigation line is covered with add.
