    [JUSTIFY]Welcome to crochet world. Your hat is superb. Doesn't look like a project from beginner. The coasters, the flower, cute skirt and mat are all very nice.

    Regarding the mat, for getting even ends, you should start every row with the required number of chains which will be counted as one stitch. e.g. DC, you have start the row with 3 chains from Row-2. this 3 chain is considered as one DC. this will help you get good finish at both sides with even ends.[/JUSTIFY]

    Mira since this was just the starting the ends are badly done...I realised it midway while doing it and I was too lazy to go back and work on it again...I think from now on...I should be very careful in counting the stitches till such time I get familiar with it.... Thanks a lot Mira for this suggestion...

    Dear Kamala...:hide: had dedicated myself to learning crocheting since I was very keen to do something...It was difficult for me...yet wanted to try it...hehe blue cone hat...was something that I never thought it would be....started doing something and a different one emerged....Placing orders...hmmmmm:idea how abt miniatures???
