husband's use illegal words that hurts me alot

Hi all,

I am silent reader of Indus ladies. In this forum they share personal problem and they get the views of others. And my problem is my hubby use illegal words to hurts me and I am depressed due to that. Please advise to me to handle.

What kind of illegal words Op?
Can you give an example?Does he do it all the time...or only when he fights with you?
Is he other wise a good husband.

Using abusive words against a spouse repeatedly is considered as domestic abuse.

Anytime anyone talks in a manne that hurts you, you need to say something like, "that is extremely rude." and leave the place. Do not give him what he wants when he is being abusive. Respond only when he is being polite. That was you reinforce that bad behaviour doesn't get him anything.

Thanks for reply friends. He using illegal words during fight but if I said that it hurts me a lot. He said that I am not using necessarily. But it can't digest those words.

Using bad words is bad , but does he atleat say sorry after things settle ?.
If yes may be you need to give him time . If not use the same words against him

Anycase, the moment he starts using that language, just move away from there and give him a silent treatment.

You need to be firm in expressing your displeasure at his use of such language. if you are not firm, it will continue.
