    Hi Friends,
Travel - this word makes everyone to enjoy. But there are some people like me who hates travel because of travel sickness.
    Travel Sickness includes:
    Headache
    Nausea
    Vomitting
    Discomfort
    Troubled breath
    Continuos Yawning

This may differ from person to person. But lot of us, suffer from this. This make the pleasant travel in to hell. Unable to enjoy throughout the trip. Because of the person with travel sickness, the co-travellers also suffers.

Even in my honeymoon to Munar, I suffered travel sickness, I was unable to enjoy the trip. This sometimes make us to feel very bad. Now I myself avoids travelling and the think that hurts me more is my DH is travel lover.
The first thing he told me before marriage is "Get Passport and l wish to travel all around the world"

hmmm..I dont have travel sickness - but I am like this

I love to go and visit places, but one cannot make me sit in a plane for more than 2 hours (My 3 year old is very good on flights, but not me)

You can try the ginger-tamarind goli (They are non-medicational and good for digestion too)

Part of the travel sickness is caused due to stress - try and relax your mind before the travel.
Drinking water helps - but it has its own other effects :)

I have in the past been the victim of terrible motion sickness but how I rarely have trouble. I would stay away from any sour items which will increases acidity in the stomach. Some people have to not eat but for me I used to have to eat crackers constantly to keep some control on the stomach. I would strongly recommend using OTC medications for travel sickness. Use ginger candy in addition.

I saw some program talking about what triggers motion sickness and it is actually in the eye. Absolutely do not read a book while the vehicle is in motion or look around on the floor or in the carriage. Keep vision on the horizon. I remember some years ago I was flying and I dropped somehting on the floor. I was reaching for it when we hit a little turbulence and then I immediately had feeling of motion sickness which lasted for the rest of the flight.
