How to store chapati flour to keep it fresh?

hi everyone,

when i went to indian grocery store i only got a big bag of chapati flour .

will it stay fresh for long time if i keep in a container or is their any other way

please help

Hi Manju,
I too get big bags of both Flour and rice.I Take out some and keep it in a container which i use daily.The remaining stays in the bag.I havent faced any problem with that.Its safe to keep it in the bag.Make sure that you close it tightly.

Manju, keep what you are going to use daily or frequently in a separate container and keep the rest in the fridge or in the freezer.
It works!

Hi manju
i too used to keep lentils,all flours,dhal etc in freezer..

it will stay fresh and u can avoid insects too..
