I currently use hotmail as my primary email. As hotmail works only when I am connected, I have to be online for a long time to read and respond to my emails. This costs a lot of money for me :)

How do I setup such that I can download all my emails, read and respond to them offline and then connect to the internet only for sending purposes?

    Thanks for the help!

I think this is possible only if you have POP access with Hotmail Plus etc.

You have to pay extra fees to get this access.

Same is the case with Yahoo.

    Why dont you try Gmail?

Why dont you try Gmail?? It has POP3 access with 2GB Mail Box. You can configure it on any email client (like outlook, eudora etc). Its absolutely FREE.

You can archive all your email and also forward a copy to some other email id.

Please check gmail.com for its features :)

Just PM me your mail id, if you need an invitation for creating your new Gmail account.

    Bhaskee :)
