How to secure bsnl broadband internet connection

    i am using Bsnl Broadband Internet Connection through D-link router model: WBR-1310 and modern ADSL cpe , model: SMARTAX MT880.
    Help me with step by step guide to enable secured connection for Desktop and WIFI.
