How do I remove this label from a bottle. I wish to re-use this bottle.

run under hot water, fill hot water and try scrubbing it with steel wool scrubber. It worked well with my transparent glass bottle.

Place the bottle in hot water and dish soap for 8 hrs or so and scrub it up with steel wool.

Immerse the bottle in water and let it be there for few hours....The remaining paper label will come off as such even if U scrub with ur hand.....

    :hello: @SuiDhaaga
Just hold over the shank on the lid of the pressure cooker through which when hot steam Issues out ; keep rotating over it till all label area gets wet. Label in time - will lose the grip adhesive, melts, dissipates easing the label and sticking substance out.

    Thanks Regards.

With glass bottles I find the easiest way is to fill bottle with water and microwave for 30 seconds or so. Take out bottle and after 4-5 seconds peel off the sticker slowly and carefully. However with this residue I think as others said, you have to soak it in hot water.

    Thanks Ladies and Gents!

I like all these creative ideas. I am leaning towards soak and scrub.
