How to reduce body mass around arms and thighs

    Hi Ladies,
    Do help me to reduce weight around arms and thighs plzzzzz.I'm 5ft and weigh 55kg.My thighs and arms are looking too fat and of course I have a moderate tummy too:hide:.Help me with some exercises and dietary plans.Waiting forward for ur advice...

    Dear Drmeenu,
    To reach your ideal weight,you need to loose 10 kg, which can be done be done very easily if you full dedicate yourself to it.
    Just follow these tips:
    Dont't Eat
    - White food (food made out of white flour/maida)
    -Sugary food/drinksI(soft drinks, sweets, choclates, bisuits)
    -Oily food(deep fried foods)

    Do Eat
    - Pleanty of fruits and vegetables
    -Lean Protein
    -Drink 2-3L of water everyday

    Excercise
    - Practise yoga everyday (try kapalbhathi and suryanamaskar)
    -If possible join the gym or workout at home (make sur you do cardio and weights)

    If you lack motivation there are many groups to keep you motivated here on IL, join them and report your progress, that will also motivate other people

    Dear drmeenu,

    One simple exercise to remove xcess fat from arms.

    Start boxing (cross shoulders) as if you are standing in front of a sand bag.

    Practise 10 reps with 10 times each.

    It would not take you more take 5 mins to do this exercise.

    It yields good results.

    Dear Il For ur arm problem log on www.gosleevless.com & for thigh u have to walk a lots of .Regular walking & yoga & u can check fat reduction yoga which i posted in weightloss by baba Ramdev.Dear il maintain ur diet also.

    If you can go to a gym, I would suggest you to try the elliptical.It worked well for me.I am a typical pear shaped women and my legs and hips look much more proportionate now.And you can also work on an elliptical with coordinated hand movements.Also toning helps a lot....yoga and weight training.

    Dear Drmeenu,

    You can reduce it by some simple excercises

    Stretch your hand and turn it around for 10 times try it for the other hand...

    Repeat till 30times first day,increase it and make it till 80 perday

    You can see the difference...

    For thighs

    Lay down then lift ur leg to air and draw circles in air with your thumbs in feet

    Draw 5 circles in each set and do it upto 6 sets per feet,this will help to reduce tummy also......

    Increase it upto 20 sets

    Do all these excercises daily :idea

    All these worked for me in two weeks..

    Hi
    How can you can surely that 45 kg is the ideal weight ,ie 99 lbs.Even for a 5 f woman isn't that too low .
    You should be more than 100 lbs.

    You have to tone your arms.For that weight training is an absolute must.
    Workout with dumbbells weighing 1-2 kgs will help tone arms.
    Do bicep curls,triceps,shoulder raises etc.
    These will give a good definition for the arms.For thigh muscles,walking is the best.
