I am not much into gardening but I like having few plants in my patio and I have some indoor plants as well. Few years ago I bought hibiscus plant and I was happy with it until few tiny insects started attacking the plant and also after that we had been to a vacation due to which the plant died. So I was little disappointed and dint want to get any outdoor plants after that. But now due to this lockdown bought few outdoor plants like hibiscus and others. I want to protect them from all these tiny bugs/insects. Is there any product you recommend to ward off these bugs?
I guess its aphids or similar ones. If so, you can get rid of it by wiping or spraying the leaves/stems of the plant with a mild solution of water and a few drops of dish soap. Apply it every day. Soap spray recently saved my curry leaves plant from aphids within a week. If nothing works you can try insecticide from home depot or lowes garden center.
A tablespoon of neem oil mixed in a litre of water can be sprayed on the plants with good results. I do the same when I dont have the regular pesticide sprays on hand. It works very well . Some suggest spraying of vinegar too, but i found it is very short lived and the problem returns immediately.
