since Sinday I made several attempts to pico stitch the edge of my chiffon Saree by hand.

Each time I had to cut it off and start over.

I already added a border to the Saree because it is so hard to handle.

How do I do pick stitch by hand without losing my mind.

Or should I do zig-zag stitch on sewing ,aching with low tension?

Please help! No one around me knows how to stitch and there are no nearby Indian stores that stitch Saree edges, etc.

Are you talking border side on fall /bottom or top side? or sides with pallu.
Also how much seam allowance or inches you have to sacrifice. Based on that, you can double fold and use any decorative or zig zag on the closest to edge on your machine.
Why do you need to pico by hand? there is picot foot/rolled hem foot, not easy to use first time and needs practice.

I am doing oposite edge of pallu, i.e. Width side that runs up an down the length of one's kegs. The top of this edge if first tucked into the waist before wrapping it around. From this edge people attach the fall (I am yet to attach fall) - hope I described properly.

I believe I can sacrifice couple of inches for seam allowance. However I want to use as little as possible.

I will researching using a picot foot/rolled hem foot and practice some more. Thank you ma'am.

Better to keep one thread than spread similar topics with slight different questions no?
this is top part across length of saree. Bottom part is fall. I also wrote a bit in you another post. also, i get you do not have any decorative weave on that side as it seems. may be thats why you asked for cloth stabilizer..but it might hurt you in waist area.

Now I realize both thread topics are similar.
