    MY bad just 2 weeks back I purchased J & J dry lotion for my skin.. So not sure when to try this shea butter :bonk. As you mentioned I see that its effective for dry skin too.. Thought suits only for stretches like..

    hello friends,

    about stretch mark

    can any one tell some good cream for stretch mark. i am 20 week pregnent and when i have to start using it? i am in US. so u can suggest me some home remedies too

    Disclaimer: Stretchmarks are unavoidable.

    You can start using the cream as early as possible.
    Palmer's cocoa butter is the one am using. Its good and keeps my skin hydrated for the whole day.

    I've heard Mederma is also good but not sure whether it is to be used during pregnancy or after that.

    Basically you can try any moisturiser with Vitamin E oil.

    palmers cocoa butter only helps in keeping the skin soft. to prevent stretch marks use bio oil. i used it through out the pregnancy. though i had some stretch marks they all but faded away after delivery.
    i recommend bio oil. it works.

    As Ranchu said strech marks are unavoidable, but you can minimise it to certain extent. You can use olive oil. There is one palmers coco butter specially for use during pregnancy. But bio oil is the best.
