How To Discard Stuff Which Means A Lot To You?

I have seen old god photo calendar and panchakam in temple near nav graham

 

I am skeptical about our area. They used to accept Ganesha idols, but I have never seen other stuff. However, I will find out if they do take them.

 

How about you give away the curtains and rugs to needy.

Or if you are attached, convert the curtains into table cloths, table runners, oven covers, small pouch to keep stationery stuff.
I have seen tailors in india stitch these.

Rugs can be converted into small footmats

 

I usually take them with me during my India visits and handover to them to my parents. They mix them in river/ Stream / ponds or well ( mostly those water not use for drinking).
