I want to join my baby boy in day care after 3 months now he is 1.3 . Before join him i want to develop his immunity to face the health problems happens in day care. Can any one pls tell me how to develop the system through diet.
I am so sure I answered a very similar thread. OP, it is but natural that kids fall sick a little more often when they transition to daycare. Here are the things that I did, not to develop immunity, that happens on its own. 1. Include an orange in her diet. 2. wash her hands before and after eating 3. Use hand sanitizer when ever required. 4. Wash hands after coming back from daycare/ playground etc.
My homeopathy doctor asked me to give one tsp honey mixed with one tsp lemon juice daily to develop immunity for my 1 year old baby..
Additionally, if the child is ill, find out spcifically whether it is a viral or a bacterial infection; refuse/avoid anti-biotics for viral infections. Until the body learns to defend itself, the body will be prone to illnesses. Of course it is up to you to judge...
Diet will not have a significant role. Of course enough of fruits and stuff so that the kid get the necessary vitamins and minerals (especially vitamin C). Handwashing is a key, the smaller the group in the day care is the smaller the risk is to get infected. Some kids are prone to ear infections due to small/narrow passages to the middle ear so they get frequent ear infections.
Include lots of garlic, ginger in food. Also honey (organic) with lemon juice is good. Fruits with vitamin C like oranges, gooseberries ( you only get frozen ones in US) helps in developing immunity. Its a long process, unlike the pop a pill, you get cured allopathy philosophy. That said the child is prone to getting sick frequently during the first year of school.
Always give natural food (not the TIN food / Frozen item ) in your daily menu you should add Pepper, Ginger, Cumin seeds De worm in every 6 months normal water bath Daily physical activity ( allow your kid to play out )
