    Hi,
If we buy imported baby food items (like enfamil, cerelac etc), how do we know that they are not from the banned/recalled lot? The product might have been recalled in the country of its origin, but what about the ones that have been imported? How to make sure that they are safe to consume? If there is any problem who is accountable?

    Kadalpura,

You can always visit the website of the product to see the recall list.
The formula or food product has some serial number or some information using which you can find if its in the recall list. I believe they check the recall lists before exporting it out to other countries.. but as you say we are not sure..

Thanks Ranchu. My doubt is if we buy the product and find it in the recall list, will the indian stores get it back? any idea?
