Op, Judging by your posts, you need to take a different approach. Take a devil don't care attitude. Taking a different flight is not bad, but you shdu have taken a business class ticket. Maybe you don't need it , maybe felt too much money, but either way why sacrifice when you are not appreciated. Why not enjoy the luxury of business class. If your in laws bleed hubby dry and he doesn't bat an eyelid, its time you take the same approach. Wudnt you have liked to travel comfortably in business class like royalty?

When my husband says , what did I do after marriage and his parents did so much, I say one thing look around that's what I did. That pretty much answers him.

Time to wisen up. I like what your MIL did per say tactic wise about jewellery. You can go ahead and order what you like and have hubby pick up the tab for it. Do it everytime your MIL does. If he asks did you need it say of course. Good Luck.
