How Painful Is Iui?

    I have an iui scheduled after my hsg came out fine yesterday.
    I am anxious, nervous, crying all day, alone, everything.

    Please tell me how to prepare myself for the pain?
    The clinic told me to come in early to get some blood tests done. H has to get blood tests and SA and then deposit sperm.

    And if all these tests are fine, they will wash and do the procudure to me.
    And I need to wait 3 hours there and get back home. They havent asked to me to take any pain killers or antibiotics. I dont know what to expect.
    Please share your experiences and your words of wisdom for me please.

    It should not be painful procedure. You will not need antibiotics since it will all be done under very clean conditions. You may feel a little bit of sensation while they are doing the procedure but it should be unremarkable.

    Less painful than hsg .I liked your post for the hsg that came back fine....high chances of you getting pregnant with simpler procedures..All d best.

    I just wish the anxiety comes down somehow. I am literally "**** scared" making trips to the loo.

    Have you heard only one egg that grew? I heard people having multiple eggs in a cycle. But they found just 1 on my left ovary (17.8 mm) and 0 on my right. Is this the result of my age and low AMH? (42, 0.7)

    Yes its bcoz of low AMH..But you require only one right. Yes after 40 yrs age you get one.i was told by my doc.

    so I got the IUI done. got a super faint second line on 10th day. about 15th day I tested again and it was plain single line. my period was 5 days late. So I dont even know what i was thinking but so I did my regular 108 pradakshinams. I do them almost once or twice every week in hanuman temple.
    I did two days in a row and bam my period is here.
    I dont know if I harmed my baby. I have a knot in my stomach. I cant get out of my guilt. I cant stop crying.
    I acant stop anxiety eating. I didnt even get an hcg test just all done.
    I dont even know how things failed so drastically .... start to end.

    Dear be strong, miracles happens when we are unexpected,don't stress yourself,just with first iui there is no guarantee that you will conceive, periods delay for 4-5days after two weeks of iui because of progesterone tablets ,chack the 5th day after stopping the progesterone tablets,if you conceived nothing will happen to your baby even if you walk and jump ...
    Just stop thinking negativity and try again..
    You can go for normal walks and routine after iui als..
    Even 108 rounds als you just walked , nothing harmed your baby,,your body not formed any embryo so your periodd came,
    Due to progesterone tablets you wil get positive that's y doc wil ask you to wait 3-4days after stopping the medicine..
    All the best dear,don't cry or blame yourself..
    Be strong and have healthy lifestyle

    Ofcourse dear everyone dream will come true one day..just wait..
    I know the pain and guilt you are going through,the sameway i too felt,but truth is that we are just humans and we blame ourselves for a silly reasons ... everything was written by the God,let it happen in that way...
    I went to nearly 10-12 iuis with gud amh value ,but not even successful,everymonth i used to cry alot,one fine day even I never think i wil get positive but the day i cried alot because of i got positive with a strong HCG values and healthy pregnancy and blessed with baby girl and now she is 3...
    Just wrap all your love and keep a side and a day wil come for sure...
