hi all... pictures of my shoe closet..
after seeing everybody's closet i felt that i had way too many sandals and shoes..hope my hubby doesnt see other's closet..he is never gonna let me buy any more.. he he... :)

The blue organizer holds my sandals and the white one holds all our shoes. I have used the shoe boxes to store the socks and another one to hold all local chappals. A ziploc pouch contains the shoe polish and stuff. I also keep an odour remover in the closet. I make sure everyday that no shoes or sandals lie outside the closet. Everything goes into its place.

    Hi
This is my first attempt at posting a picture in this forum.

Here are pictures on how I arrange my shoes. Next to the shoe shelf is a cost rack which will be used in the winter times and the brass bowl will catch all the gloves and scarves. The other picture shows the entrance hallway where we have also placed a park bench so our guests can sit comfortably to remove/wear their footwear.
The letter holder above the shelf holds shoe polish etc. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/members/131174-albums2183.html

I saw all my sisters' entries and each one excellent.
    Thanks
    Kamala

    Thank you Vijaya.
Sandy your closet is also wonderful.
There is a typo in my post: please read :"coat" rack instead of "cost".
    Thanks and all the best.
    Kamala

    Hi Vijaya
Typo again...maybe I should stop posting..:)
I meant to say Sandy "and your" closets...
I like your idea of replacing the doll every week for your daughter's friends. Very thoughtful. Very neat closet too. I agree that less space means less buying...

    Dear Sudha,
What an inspiration you give us all by posting first. All the shoe racks are very neat.
we do not have a veranda and the moment we open the door our main living area will start. So there is no space other than that wall.hence we decided on wall mounted one. the top 2 racks are for my husband's shoe.the middle 2 racks r for my kids shoes.the last 2 racks are to keep the slippers of all four of us.
