I have gotten measurements at Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Victoria’s Secret overtime. My favorite used to be Calvin Klein... the best fit for petite frames but they don’t make in big cup sizes so after kids I switched to Victoria’s Secret and Wacoal. My everyday use bras are Body by Victoria’s Secret. I like full coverage and no push up. These are expensive but hold well. For sports bras, I also prefer Victoria’s Secret or under armour (you can also find Under Armour sports bra at Ross for very affordable prices).

You need to find a good fit and once you find one, stick with it. Try different styles in the store. @MalStrom has great advice!

I should start washing by hand. The Body bras don’t have metal wire but have a moldable plastic and overtime it looses shape, that’s when I change them.

Ladies say handwash or put in a linen bag before putting in machine.

Rule of thumb is to replace after 1 year.

I somehow dint buy many bras here in US because most of them are padded. For everyday use I prefer something which are 100% cotton and non padded ones like in India.

Never tried in departmental stores either but I should check them.

I couldn’t find anything on Amazon.
Which brand has non padded without any underwire?

Playtex for one, and it is available on Amazon. But it’s not cotton.

I like Bali bras from Macy's they are not padded and are cotton like we get in India and last long (1.5yrs) and replace when hooks are crooked.

Wacoal also makes unlined bras. They aren't cotton like we used to get in India...more lacy type. I like lightly padded...too conscious about nipples showing! Calvin Klein makes 100% cotton, bralette type.

I have a small band size and large cup size so finding a perfectly fitting bra is a challenge. Once I found two styles that I like for regular and strapless, I have stuck with those for the last six years.

I agree with Nuss. I get the lightly lined but unpadded bras especially during our hot and humid summer. I used to love the Libertina Melody bra while I was in India. I don’t know if it is still sold. It had very nice cotton fabric with a hint of lace but I always wished the material wasn’t so thin, especially with all the lechers ogling on public transport.

It’s still available on Amazon.I have used this brand.
I even like Daisy Dee and there is another brand which is very good but I don’t remember the name :frowning: It’s little thick but it’s not heavily padded.

I recently wondered why don’t people sell Indian bras in USA instead of just sarees and other stuff :grinning:
