How much should we rely on Horoscopes when choosing a partner??

If you believe it, rely on horoscope.. rest pls don.

 

Most of the marriages in India consider horoscopes and needless to say few /most :hide: of these marraiges fail inspite of the horoscope matches.
It's better to rely on how compatible you guys are than on a horoscope.

 

The thing is it is not so much about horoscope matching, than its about mentality of the family you are marrying into. There are four cases:

1. Family does not believe so much in horoscope (FDBH), does it only for the sake of tradition && your horoscope matches (YHM): All is good. If something goes wrong, you won't be blamed.
2. FDBH, YHDM: It will be good when times are good. If something unpleasant happens, there will forever be doubts on you, but its okay. You won't be spoken to directly. :thumbsup
3. FBH, YHM: It will be good when times are good. If something unpleasant happens, there will forever be doubts on you, and its not okay this time. You will be called in for some shanti-puja or something. Your parents can be accused of providing a false horoscope. :rant
4. FBH, YHDM: Fatal !! You are the sole reason for anything that happens to the family. Brace yourself to take blame for the most stupidest and trivial hitches in life. :drowning

Result: There is only 25% of chance of having a peaceful trouble free life on horoscope front. So decide for yourself.

PS: I am facing number 3. :hide:

 

I would say rely on the your spouse and his family's compatibilty than horoscopes, this only if you dont believe it, if you believe then you tend to rely on it you basically would not have any choice. So everything is in mind...whoever it may be.

 

Don't be sorry dear, 75% face the same.
By the way, I think we are doing it all wrong for ages. There is an urgent need of establishing the trend of matching MIL-DIL horoscope, rather than husband-wife's horoscopes. :rotfl
