Sorry for my delayed reply. Yes you aren't in the path. Anyway almost all the channels broadcasted the event live!

All,
I saw it clearly from my office. It was visbile very clearly. I just kept my chunny infront of eyes and saw it at afternoon 2 AM IST.

Yes indeed a splendid show! that tooo for such a long time!! What type of glass you used to watch it?
Total solar eclipse may occur sometimes but annular eclipse will occue once in many many years.
We are very lucky to have it in our lifetime!

I got the opportunity only yesterday (in my life span of 35 years) to watch the solar eclipse. I watched it with the help of x-ray film & it was really wornderful watching.

X-ray films come in handy!! Isn't it??!!
Yes I also watched it thro' bare eyes but could see the eclipsed sun for split seconds only! then only rays could be seen.
We tried to capture it on our camera. But failed.

I too watched the eclipse using X-ray film & in a large bowl{thambalam} of water. It was nice & gud.
Also, the shawdow of the trees were really diff {like peacock feather}& super.
