Hey interesting... Mujhe bhi ye doubt tha ki bharat me saare log hindi me kyun bhat nahi karte...! Tab to ek uniformity bhi hoga or vacation keliye jagah bhi honge :cheers
Hi, Just couldnot stop from replying. Not everyone's mother tongue is Hindi. I am not sure what made you conclude that Hindi is "our" mother tongue. BTW, my mother tongue is not hindi but i know to read, write and speak hindi.
We r Indians.....but our mother tongue is not hindi..ours is tamil. India is a country of different languages...there is not single language hindi:thumbsup
"Hindi is our National language" please come forwarda and deny it.:thumbsup Whenever "Hindi" language came as indian language, i dont know why "our south indian bro and sisters" strongly oppose this. :spinEven if it is not our mother tounge , it is our "Naational language" , so why feeling ashamed to learn and talk "Hindi". Change the name of "Hindustan" to ".......istan":bonk
Smitavivek... its not the question of south indians or north indians... so thats ruled out... Hindi is not every indian's mother tongue but its our national language.. so i am proud to say that i know my mother tongue (maatrubhaasha), and also my national language (raashtra bhaasha) along with few other languages spoken in south india.. by the way, i dont know the devabhaasha
hi, Hindi and english are the official language of India, but not the National language.see the link below. There's no national language in India: Gujarat High Court - India - The Times of India so i think ..it depends on the individual to know hindi or not.
Smita..Why to make this as a North - South thing?Hindi is not a even national language and if you see even the Maharashtrians and Gujaraathi's do not claim that hindi is a must. They speak their "mother tongue". As Gayathri said, It is upto you to practice or not.But it is not wise to force it and claim as "mother tongue" of India. ?????????What is this?
