Hi All, Vibgyor Schools have opened up a branch in Marathahalli - Bangalore. Anyone has any idea of how the School is ? Also any Idea of Gopalan International School in Whitefield ? I want to know how good / Bad are they with academics ? Any feedback is welcome. Thanks in Advance, Priya
Hi, i dont know abt Whitefield Internation School.. but, i have seen BIRLA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL In Banerghata Road , a very nice campus, As per myself, Birla will be the best since, they are professional and this is not their first school...they consider education as a industry and having very good infrastructure..... at the same time, you can opt. any good christian Schools..though thats expensive , they serve very well to society.... apart from that, Brigade internation school, Gopalan, etc there are so money schols has come in Bangalore, but they have started because they saw money .... you wont get service of BIRLA and christian s good school... This is my personal view, not to hurt any1 who is associated with Gopalan, Brigade or any other international school... regds ~sunil sunil_k_blore@yahoo.co.in
Thanks for sharing this info.... My husband (i think he is from the days before independence to INDIA :bang :bang ', he thinks apart from Frank ANthony's school @ Cambridge Layout and some schools @ Richmond road, all other school are useless.
hi, indeed thanks for your reply as well as short and salty reply.....hope i will not repeat the same mistake once again.... bbye for forever... sunil..:wave
Hi, Coincidently we had been to the school last week to check it out for our daughter. They seem to have the infrastructure but.... our opinion is that ... this is one of those "international schools" which would have kids of rich parents & NRI's would study. What with all the classes been air-conditioned (in a city like Bangalore)... Hence we decided not to look at this school seriously. Gopalan School does not have good feedback too. The good schools in the Bangalore East area are FAPS, Baldwin, Bishop Cotton, St: Josephs Indian & Boys Schools, NPS, Shishu Griha..... As somebody here said ... lots of commercialisation is prevelant in these schools too. Nowadays only Kendriya Vidyalaya's, Sainik & Govt. Schools are the odd ones out. regards Praveen
dear praveen, how abt st.german's in coles road, st.jhons in coles road, clarence in richards square, these are good english medium and my siblings have studied here..sunkan
Hi Priya looks like u are searching for schools around marathalli......have u explored the option of DPS at sarjapur rd.? even we are planning to put our kids there....any more info on this school wud be welcome regds sonalika
Hi Sunkan, Oops... left them out .. those are good schools too although with a lot of stress on extra-curriculars. Am I right? Hi Essvee, We did check our kid at DPS, Blore(East). The admissions to nursery(montessori) are going on while for the higher classes it would start in November 2nd week. Hope this info. was of some use. rgrds PK
dear pk, it is better to expose the children to all facility available as we all want them to have the latest and let me tell u let us not all jump in the trail of making only engineers and doctors, in fact according to study no doctors now, as they feel engineers are getting better pay, stress is more from home, when both parents work and nuclear family where the child never gets to confide as dad would tell mom and vice versa,so the aunt or uncle are better for fusing out the anger, we must just not pressurize and let them grow in a natural manner.. when u select good schools u get them a brighter friends, because that is the place of no rich poor but simply friends and tomorrow they have better contacts and life is fuller.. regards sunkan
hi pk thanx for the info.... i was wondering when the admissions r starting.....i'll call up and enquire soon....which class is ur kid in? regards essvee
