How Do You Send Fedex, Ups, Etc Packages. Do You Print Your Labels. Do You Have Your Own Account.

OK I am freaking out and my Dad is upset with me.

First I found an important document we thought we misplaced or was stolen and need to send it somewhere

Today I was paranoid about my Dad's refill medications so that sending that document did not cross my mind

When my Dad found out I didn't make effort towards the document, he was disappointed and upset

To make matters worse the closest FedEx store closed permanently

I struggled to make my own label (for $11), but I don't have those sturdy FedEx enveloped


1. Will FedEx still deliver package in plain envelope even thought I am taping the FedEx label I paid for

2. FedEx says get an account, not just a login. Then you can order free FedEx envelopes, etc


Ok ladies and gents in USA, how do you manage?

Or do you have nearby FedEx, UPS, etc store that you don't give it a second throught


Or is printing our own label a no big deal


I tried contacting customer service but they cannot speak proper English and they are in a hurry to end the call


I am so frazzled right now!

 

I thought it was that simple and was so happy when I found the documents till I discovered that the nearest authorized FedEX place (30 min away) is permanently closed!

The FedEX and UPS store is too too far. And I live in metro area with poor public transportation. Since the matter is urgent and I am confined to my home (long story), I ended up printing my label for pickup today, May 19.

An acquaintance who helps around (she herself is limited in what she can do) will drop off at Walgreens FedEx today.

I am certain there will be more things to FedEx/UPS in near future. Will take time to find how to commute to one of these stores.

 

This morning the package was dropped off at Walgreens

but when will FedEX pick up?

I keep checking the tracking number but no change!

 

I hope so I am so worried!

I told the recipieint that the package was dropped off and I provided the tracking number

The recipient thougth that i meant that the package was dropped off for him



I feel so dopey. I should have said dropped off at Walgreens for FedEx to pick up.


And I cannot get a human on the phone. At least someone can tell me when FedEx will pick up packages from Walgreens!
