I find comedy and romantic movies to be good options to de stress..if I switch on TV during any free time, I feel extremely uncomfortable when in laws walk by, they’re not so good at respecting privacy..in fact when I was watching one interesting movie scene of my favourite actor, FIL walked in and was asking why I’m Watching TV at this time and many questions on what I’m watching etc. I was irritated and self conscious, but answered politely as due to generation gap there won’t be much understanding of privacy etc..and I don’t want to make it an issue.. Hence I prefer to put only general content such as news channels, news videos, educational documentaries on TV when in laws are here.. Many couples have separate wall mounted TV their bedroom...my cousin who stays with been in laws and has a kid, has a separate TV in their bedroom...and one common TV in hall room.... We don’t have separate TV due to cost involved and as it seem as to be an unnecessary expense considering we don’t get much time to watch TV... Nowadays everyOne has account in Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hotstar, YouTube, and other online streaming platforms... In nuclear families, it s not an issue as elders are not there and couples without no kids can watch anytime and couples with kids can watch after kids go to sleep ...but in joint family privacy become such a constraint.. Most movies and web series have some adult content , which elders and kids won’t find suitable,,.so just want to get an idea how and when you ladies manage to catch up with movies and web series ... After all how ever busy we are, entertainment is important and refreshing... Do you watch your entertainment on mobile phone? tablets / IPads ? laptop?
