What kind of papers do you need to organize? I have switched to e-statements and billing for everything. Other documents get scanned and saved on the computer and I shred the hard copy. The few unavoidable documents fit into a drawer or a small plastic storage box.
Mail to be sorted - Statements to be filed (I keep paper copy for 3 years b4 shredding, but i like the idea of scanning) - Bank statements I keep hard copies for all years - Yearly journals I haven't updated (need to find time because 3+ hours is used for commuting to and from work) Trying to de-clutter
