Between commuting to/from work, the morning grind, and taking online classes, filing paperwork can be done in Weekends (if I am fortunate)

Hence all these papers are scattered on my once lovely and bare mahogany table.

I just ordered Amazon.com : Over The Door File Organizer, Hanging Wall Mounted Storage Holder Pocket Chart for Magazine, Notebooks, Planners, Mails, 5 Extra Large Pockets(Blue withLantern Pattern) : Office Products

What else can I get to help me keep things
    1. Organized
    2. In full-sight to file away

I live in rental, so I cannot drill holes, etc

What kind of papers do you need to organize? I have switched to e-statements and billing for everything. Other documents get scanned and saved on the computer and I shred the hard copy. The few unavoidable documents fit into a drawer or a small plastic storage box.

    Mail to be sorted
    - Statements to be filed (I keep paper copy for 3 years b4 shredding, but i like the idea of scanning)
    - Bank statements I keep hard copies for all years
    - Yearly journals I haven't updated (need to find time because 3+ hours is used for commuting to and from work)

    Trying to de-clutter
