There was an article by Chitvish in THE HINDU metroplus on 25th Nov 2006. I was so impressed by the write up and wanted to join. But as I was out of town for the next two days I made it a point to join it on 27th.

From then on I post and dont post and then post going on and on.

my husband informed me about this community, that time i was in my last few days of delivering my baby.. this site meant a lot to me esp those few days, i felt as if am with my own people in india......

Hi Lotus,

I was reading one of the Indian papers there was a dowry harassment case in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:State><st1lace>California</st1lace></st1:State> and I was so moved by that. I wanted to know more about that. In google I was searched like "Indian ladies in <st1:country-region><st1lace>Usa</st1lace></st1:country-region>" something like that....accidentally I found this site.:-D

Dear friends,

This site was introduced to me by my other website friend Kamalji to whom our sunkan has sent the link. As we are all the members in Sulekha and sunkan told us about our cheeniya ( Sri sir's wonderful humor postings styles with messages ) and we decided to join here.

It's a pleasure to find many good writers here and happy to be amongst them.

Thanks to Indusladies team for introducing this site to the vast Indian Society.

Hope some day I will be able to meet the orgainsers of this site at chennai during some get-to gethers.

I had come across the name in a website..initially i was just coming in as a guest..as i had the stigma..public forum..and security..then became confident and now am really involved.
