house registration and wife's name

i got good info here. i was in a similar doubt a couple of months back. since,we too had purchased a flat and there were issues in registration.
my DH too did not add me. its only in his name. and my inlaws have an eye on it. so i was scared.
coming to your question, i do not have answers to all your questions.
POA : it does become invalid after registration.
and regarding your name: you can definitely add it on the registration irrespective of whether you are earning or not.
anyway,what i think is,if you have a few other houses/prop registered in ur/DH/joint name why do you have to worry about whose name this one is going to be.if there is no other property in ur name then may be you can ask your DH to do it otherwise don't feel insecure. his parents too are his family,right?

Its better to do joint registration...

In laws get lot of money from their sons obviously before son's marriage and after that too...In this age they dnt need money too but still they ask money.. I dnt know why they ask...here we have many problems we have to take care of everything and have to send money to them...so sad...
