    hi

I just wanted to give a tip which i have been using for the past year or so. U can wash the curry leaves (the fresh ones) drain them and microwave them for 4 mins and it becomes very crisp and retains the green colour too. The time is for a big bunch of curry leaves.

Just thought would share this when i read the karvepellai podi recipe.

    Dear Krishnamma,
Thanks for all your recipes for podis and ready made mixes. It's a precious thing to safeguard for a life time.:bowdown
I have a doubt amma. Can you please clarify what type of rice should be used for adai mix and dosa mix ( ie,. is it raw rice or idly rice [boiled]).:confused2:
It would be great if you clarify it as early as possible so that i can prepare it.
    Thank you once again amma.
