    I would like to know, wether we can make powder out of horsegram? becoz in australia it is very hard to get kollu powder.so can i prepare kollu powder out of horsegram?if so, please answer me.please.. iam desperate to loose weight, as iam 17 kgs extra... plzz help...and iam even breatfeeding...as welll.

    Hi all,
    Horsegram can be boiled and added to rasam, vegetable curry.
    It takes a lot of time for boiling.
    So I soak it in hotwater for 1-2 hours and then use it.
    Else can be soaked on the previous day night.
    Krishnaamma had mentioned about making horsegram milk, in one of her threads.
    That also can be tried.
    In a dry pan roast the horsegram seeds and after it cools up, can be pound as a powder.
