    Dear Friends,

    I am getting married and planning my honeymoon in the month of September.

    Kindly suggest us some cool place near India. (Plz dont say Ooty,kodaikanal & coorg :bowdown )

    It has to be affordable and good. We are planning a 4/5 days trip.

    Please suggest a best place with best climate.It should not be hot and sultry.

    Anybody have idea about Havelock island in Andaman & lakshadweep Islands?

    Our Honeymoon was also in the month of september Last year..
    we went to Vithri resort in wyanad.
    It is affordable and the climate, the location, food all are excellent.
    But U'll not have much place to see around...(Afterall it is a honeymoon trip.. Do u wanna roam around and get tired??? ;););).......)

    Hi Sugnathi,
    May be you can plan the honeymoon according to the place you like. We can divide vaccationd estinations to mainly 4categories....mountains, hill stations,beaches and dessert(E.g. Rajasthan). Pick your fav type and then check for places having best climate at that time.Sikkim is a good but not a in demand HM destination.That will give you a relaxed honeymoon than a crowd like in places that have the HM tag.

    I agree with Crazyqueen, dont mix up sightseeing with honeymoon.That will make your trip hectic and very tired at end of day.So select place accordingly.

    I came here to recommend Wayanad and I see someone else has already said that. And, it also depends on your interest like beach, hill station, wild life, nature, etc. If beach, you can opt for Goa. If hill station, Darjeeling is a great place to visit. But for honeymoon, I guess best place would be anywhere in Kerala! ;) Congratz and Happy married life! :thumsbup

    Thanks for your reply. Strongly agree with ur point. Even we are planned wyanad banasura island resort.
    I have an idea about Vithri resort too....

    Did they provide any special packages for honeymoon couples?

    Thanks for reply. We have planned based upon climate and relaxation. I think hill station is fine....We are thinking about Sikkim, but September month heavy rain fall in Sikkim. So its not possible...

    Could you suggest me some-other places...

    I am not sure if you are aware that monsoon season in Kerala is normally till end of september. Coorg is another option.
