    Hi moms,
My daughter is 11/2 years old now. Her Pediatrician told me to avoid honey till the child is 1 year old.

So now I want to give her a spoon full of honey every day. Does any of you do that. Is it good to give honey every day.

What are the advantages or disadvantages of giving a spoon of honey every day to kids. Please shares your thoughts or experiences on it.

    Thanks

    Peeble,

Honey is a raw product not cooked and not the best thing for LOs. Though misuse of anything is bad. Honey taken everyday will not have any advantage. Also honey acts as a sedative and should not be taken more often.
For colds one drop of honey can be given but on a regular basis not needed.
