I see.. no I never use bar soap but if it is for hair shouldnt be to bad,maybe just lather it up between hands then apply that to hairs. See how it feels and if it is good then keep on if not then dont use again.

Hi Asha,

another question, when u use shikakai +amla powders, how do u use it and does ur hair get knotty once u wash the powders out of ur hair coz of hard water...

After I use anything to wash the hairs I do a vinegar rinse or honey rinse and it helps to close up the hairs so it is shiny and tangles less. After I get out I let them open and air dry,shake out the pieces if it has some left in the hairs then after they dry fingercomb,oil then braid.

No I have not used this one if I use anything it would be shikakai alone or i would mix it with amla myself.

Boil coconut oil and "adimathuram" (which is available in all herbal stores). stem sticks of a tree

my grandma used to say "hair will grow even in ur palm"

thank you, definitely "adimathuram" is not available in US i guess,,, but where in bangalore can i find it,, plzz let me know,, the day i land in bangalore i will start hunting for it
