    · Menstruation, excessive bleeding
    1. Grind some bel leaves into a fine paste. Take 1 teaspoon with warm water and drink some cold water as well.
    2. Grind 10 fresh lead buds of figs (anjeer) and apply on the lower abdomen below the navel for a few hours. Repeat this frequently.
    3. Boil 1 teaspoon coriander (dhania) seeds in 2 cups water till it is reduced to 1 cup. Add sugar to taste and drink when lukewarm. Repeat twice or thrice a day.
    • Menstruation, painful and irregular
    1. A piece of fresh ginger (adrak), ground and boiled in a cup of water. The infusion is taken thrice daily after meals along with sugar.
    • Morning sickness
    1. Mix 1 teaspoon each fresh juice of mint (pudina) and lime along with 1 tablespoon honey. Take 3 times a day.
    2. Mix juice of 15-20 tender curry leaves (curry patta) with 2 teaspoon lime juice and 1 teaspoon sugar. Take in the morning.
    3. Mix 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (jaiphal) powder with 1 tablespoon freshly extracted amla juice. Take 3 times a day.
    4. ½ teaspoon ginger (adrak) juice with 1 teaspoon each fresh lime and mint (pudina) juice mixed with a tablespoon of honey, taken frequently
    • Mosquito bite
    1. Apply lime juice diluted with water on body.
    • Mouth infection
    1. Powder dried mint (pudina). Use as toothpowder.
    • Mouth Inflammation
    1. Soak 1 tablespoon crushed liquorice (mulathi) root in 2 cups water for 2 to 3 hours and use it for gargling frequently.
    • Mouth ulcers (chhale)
    1. Mix some coconut milk with honey and massage the gums 3 to 4 times a day.
    2. Gargle with (or apply) freshly extracted coconut milk from a ripe coconut frequently.
    3. Mix the pulp of a ripe bel fruit with jaggery (gur) and eat once a day.
    4. Mix 1 tea cup bel pulp with 1 teaspoon sugar and eat early morning on an empty stomach for 3 days.
    5. Coriander (dhania) decoction prepared by boiling 1 teaspoon coriander seeds (saboot dhania) in 1 cup water, gargled when lukewarm, frequently.
    6. Chew one or two tender leaves of fig (anjeer) and leaf buds frequently and wash the mouth with warm water.
    7. Soak 1 tablespoon crushed liquorice (mulathi) root in 2 cups water for 2 to 3 hours and use it for gargling frequently.
    8. Boil 2 tablespoon fenugreek (methi) leaves along with ½ cup green gram (moong dal) and 10 small onions. Eat regularly.
    9. Fenugreek seeds (methi dana), fried and powdered. This is added to drinking water. Drink 2-3 times daily for 2-3 days.
    10. An infusion of fenugreek (methi) leaves gargled 5-6 times daily for a couple of days.
    • Mucus in cough
    1. Pour 1 cup boiling water over ½ teaspoon each of ginger (adrak) powder, clove (laung) powder and cinnamon (dalchini) powder. Filter. Sweeten with 1 teaspoon honey and drink.
    • Muscular cramps
    1. Apply clove oil on the affected parts.
    2. Apply clove oil as poultice on the affected areas
    • Muscular pain
    1. Warm the papaya leaf over the fire and apply on affected parts.
    2. Heat ginger (adrak) paste with turmeric (haldi) paste (1:1) and apply.
    3. Soak ½ teaspoon liquorice (mulathi) root powder in 1 cup water and leave overnight. Mix into the infusion 1 cup rice gruel (cooked broken rice) and take every morning.
    Nasal congestion
    1. Crush a fistful of carom seeds (ajwain) and tie up in a cotton napkin and place it near the pillow.
    2. Put 1 teaspoon cardamom (chhoti illaichi) seeds on burning coal and inhale the smoke.

    • Nervousness
    1. Apply fresh lime juice on the head. Massage well before showering off.
    2. Steep 1 tablespoon mint (pudina) leaves in 1 cup water for 30 minutes. Drink the infusion, do not boil.
    • Nose bleeding
    1. Drop lemon juice in nostrils.
    2. Use juice of fresh coriander leaves (dhania) as nasal drops.
    3. Dip a cotton bud in rose water and dab it on to the inside of your nostrils to stop the bleeding.
    • Nose bleeding due to body heat
    1. Lemon juice dropped into nostrils provides excellent relief.
    2. Juice of fresh coriander leaves (dhania) can be used as nasal drops.
    • Nose blockage due to cold and phlegm
    1. Make into a very fine powder equal quantities of the following: cardamom (chhoti illaichi) seeds, cinnamon (dalchini), black pepper (kali mirch) and cumin (jeera). Sniff this powder frequently to induce sneezing.
