Ah!! Finally after weeks cleaning out what I don’t need from my house..time to decorate beautifully!! Well..that’s what I thought! I googled for some Decor ideas but they either seem To pricey or it won’t suit my home.. Am looking for some decor ideas zen,feng Shui..basically want a positive,vibrant and relaxing home.. I shop a lot through amazon..any links through that please let me know.. Thanks

I am also looking at some decor redoing. - Are you looking for a minimalistic modern feel or a bit traditional too? - starting with any specific rooms and areas or whole house? - Will better-half have to okay any ideas? : ) - Is furniture included in decor or that is not changing? I want to start with changing the color of the walls in a main room. It is a simple one weekend job but I can't do it myself. : ( I need help to move furniture and wall-mount TV. And, don't feel like hiring painters for just one room walls painting, no ceiling paint.
I like a traditional house,very relaxing and calm feel main living room better half is not even considered for ideas furniture not included but dining table mat..small things like that will buy
Take digital photos of the spaces you want to decorate. You can copy digi-images of whatever you want to purchase, , and paste in the spaces you want to decorate. Then look at the photo and see if you can feel that spark-of-joy. One person's spark could be another's killjoy. If you don't feel that spark, you can avoid the purchase, and be joyful while you move on to the next image candidate. This wall colour scheme is a perfect candidate for before&after photos to see how that feels. Easy to change color on the photo to whatever you want, and take a look. Masking before, and de-masking after the painting is a tough job. Painting with another person (child, friend, H/W/ etc..) would make things go like a picnic activity.
If you install 'Pinterest ' app or pinterest.com and search there you get lot of ideas and images for any choices. It was really useful for my home renovation and for other decor ideas as well. Anyway, it all depend on budget, space and personal interests.
Agree. I designed my entire new home from ideas from Pinterest . Wonderful app. Lots n lots of ideas there in that. Plus Anika I'd you are are instagram of hashtags like #homedecor #Indianahomedecor etc. You'll get good ideas.
