Why I left it late was i saw a hibiscus that was 6ft growing in a small pot at the local krishna sweets at our place..so thought this cold survive...

Since planning for vacation thought i should do it before i leave...let me see, if it will survive my tampering..or else i can get another plant from the local nursery...

Also my manure is reeking..so have to now put it into some pots...let me put in this.....

    Hello AC,
Anyways, I don't have much time to do all these things.
My Tulips, lilies, roses, dhalia, marigold, cosmos are enough for me.
I had lots of indoor plants, but it all died due to temperature problems.
We have to set house with atleast 68-70 F on winter and all the plants would die due to high tempartures. So I just gave up on indoor plants.
Lawn maintenance and these plants itself are enough.
I feel bad that only for 3 months summer I have to do so much and everything is dead after 3 months because of cold temp.

    Regards.

Yes I have tried it but couldn't drink. It has some horrible taste.........During Ramadhan period these people exchange gifts and along with the dry fruits and all this dried hibiscus has to be there. But heard it is very good for health.

    Aishu22,

I pick up those big size ceramic pots from a nursery near the pallavaram-thoraipaakam road..beside the petrol bunk..the lady is reasonable and has everything..from the plants, the soil and i get a good bargain.
she guides on the size of the pot also if you need .her roses also come out well..try her..but this is summer may be after july..i am anticipating it to be too hot...

whenever i go out taking a cab, we pick up plants.2 in 1 job. the only problem is carrying them to the second floor.

I have white, pink and red hibiscus growing out of pots..and they give me atleast 2/6 flowers a day...
