why dont you try biotique henna.it is available in leading dept stores.you will get good results for sure.but its a bit costly

i just wanted to ask about when to add beetroot juice in henna mixture.
wat are the ingredients to be added to get best colour?

Hello Shanthi,

I am a qualified beautician.

Henna is mixed directly with Beet Root Juice to give it a Burgandy / Red hue to your colour. You need not add anything more to this natural mixture. After applying the mixture evenly, wait for atleast 3 hours for the colour to set in.

Rinse your hair off with plain water - no shampoo or conditioner on the first wash.

After drying your hair, apply oil to the scalp and let it be absorbed overnight.

The 3rd day you should wash with mild shampoo.

Henna can dry your hair, so you need to use a conditioner for the final rinse.

Thank you Shanthi.. I will try Biotique Henna. Do you by any chance know how much it costs? I would still like to buy the regular henna..cos' if the biotique is really expensive I might not be able to do that every 2 weeks like I do now.

Gitunandkumar... I was looking for pure good quality henna ...if anyone knows any good store for that. The last time I was in Coimbatore I did buy some henna but I don't think that's real good quality.. cos' the color of the henna powder is very dull brown...

 

Herbal henna vs henna

I have this package of herbal henna it has amla,shikakai,bringhraj,brahmi,neem and tulsi. Do you think that it is ok to use it like a regular henna application? Will it have same coloring effects or would it be best used as a hair washer?? The package it say to mix it with buttermilk and leave for 3 to 4 hours then apply to hairs like henna but with all those other herbs in the henna mix I dont know? Any help pleaseDrowning

all those sound very good for hair. If you use henna regularly then i dont think this pack is any different you can use it just like they mentioned. If you dont want to take any risk then do a strand test.

yes use it and mix it with some beet juice and the color you get is beautiful. i just did that and it was beautiful.
