Help with dinner menu for veg and non-veg guests

    Hi girls

    I need suggestions regarding how to go about planning a dinner menu for both veg and non-veg guests. I have a baby and a toddler, so will be difficult to spend long hours at a stretch. Easy and tasty recipe ideas that you girls swear by.

    I have planned something like this...but pls help me!

    starter

    Non veg Tandoori chicken - marinated previous night and cooks in oven
    veg - ???

    Main

    non veg Naan (ready made), chicken/mutton curry, biryani
    veg - pulao or biryani with raita
    veg side dish to go with naan - ???? Paneer something. ...
    Plain rice
    pepper rasam

    Easy dessert ???
    Pannacota
    kheer??????

    1. Welcome Drink

    2. Non - Veg

    a) Naan with Chicken gravy
    b) Mutton Pulav with Curd / cucumber raitha
    C) Any Chicken dry Tandoori / Kabab
    d) Plain Rice with Pepper or Dal Rasam (It be useful for Vegetarians too)
    e) Veg Salad - Cucumber/onion/Carrot/ Lemon

    3. Veg

    a) Naan / Puri with Paneer / veg mixed curry
    b) Veg Pulav with Curd / cucumber raitha
    C) Masala vada / or Mixed veg bonda similar to aloo bonda
    d) Simple curry Beans / Aloo / Carrot / Cabbage curry which ever is convenient for you to make.
    e) Plain Rice with Pepper or Dal Rasam and Plain Curd
    f) Pickle, Salt, Papad,


    4. Easy dessert:

    Pannacota is a easy Recipe too
    Carrot Halwa with Ice Cream / Kheer too good idea

    Chole/ chana masala curry goes very well with naan and is mostly liked by even the fussy eaters. you could make and freeze it as well as it freezes well.
    for starter you could use paneer and make chilli paneer or hara bhara kabab which is easy to make and can be made earlier and frozen as well.some other starter ideas would be vegetable cutlets (freeze well). Easy desert well i usually use readymade gulab jamun (bikano brand) with ice cream. Semolina sheera is also very easy to make.

    i am so hungry all of a sudden more ideas later.:)

    4:mutton kasa(if u want can use ready made masala)

    veg
    1:mixed veg pakora
    2:naan
    3:peas pulao(can make in microwave with in 20 Mnts)
    4:daal tadka
    4:shahi paneer(you can find readymade masala)

    Common dishes:

    1:raita
    2:simai
