Thanks for confirming that! I don't see any reason some ability to delete unused pictures is not provided to the user.
LOL! Just saw this thread. I have over 200 attachments on IL, and so many that I want to delete, but can't. Unlike Aria's they aren't personal so it doesn't bother me as much.
I was posting in the neurons thread in the morning and was really half-asleep. Which one is the telly photo 35 or 36, ah! it must be 35, "click", Oaaw! (Plink) How do I delete , there must be some option, here no there what is that "?" mark , saw the assuring message "Auto-delete" , wow ! how thoughtful of the team to provide clean-up background job. (return in the evening) :eek
Hi Aria, First of all keep cool. No one can see your picture that isn't used in the post yet or in the photo album. It is in the manage attachments area only available to your profile. We don't know why unused attachments aren't deleted after an hour, need to check that out. Meanwhile, please PM (il_admin) the exact filename of the picture you uploaded that needs to go off. We will take care of getting it removed.
Thank you Malathy. I'm working with Admin to sort it out. And lose the only chance I ever get to be hysterical and closest to creating a attention -grabbing & sensational title, wanted to see how it feels (forgot to add 4 exclamation marks at the end) :biggrin2:
Laxmi, Am attaching the photo here rather than deleting cache, cookies, turning the machine upside down for elusive picture and pampering this as another hallucinogenic thread, logged in from different laptop, visible in upload manager. Photo to be deleted is photo (35).jpg
To confirm , I'm not on any drugs and the machines are totally different separated by a distance of 6 feet :biggrin2:

Am able to replicate the error at my end and also as mentioned by Gauri here http://www.indusladies.com/forums/s...uploaded-photo-not-deleted-4.html#post3410780 noticed that the unused attachments are not getting cleaned up. Am currently looking at the setting, and will update you once I have answers. Thanks for your patience.
