u can get good stuff regards to blanket and curtain from D-mart koperkhairane( near vashi). Lot of variety at reasonable rates.
myself lived in koperkhairane for almost 5 yrs its closer to vashi .Good connectivity to all places from my location whether within navimumbai or to mumbai also. In navi mumbai rentals are upward Rs.9000 for 1 bhk depending on locality and type of building. Lot of temples especially good southindian temples in vashi and nearby localities. Lot of cultural activities also take place depending on the locality. Anything u want will be easily and readily available for u at ur fingertips. Its one of the most developed cities. If u r southindian u can befriend or acquaint many southindians there depending on ur socialising skills. Koperkhairane will also be good location for u.If possible avoid agents if u r renting house to avoid commission. All the best for ur new city.
Thank you for the information. I have added Vashi to the list of preferred places. I do prefer having south indian temples and love spending time on cultural activities in an around. My husband had contacted an agent. I am not comfortable with commission either. From what you have said Vashi like a really good place.
