Help Please on wet carpet

    Hiiii friends,

    My hall carpet is mostly wet..by mistake i dropped a cup full of water which is spreading day by day.I am really very fed up in sqeezing the water out using cotton cloth.I donno how to stop this water spreading and to dry the carpet..plzz give me suggestion..Is there any water sucker thing available at wamart or any other stores..

    Hi Akijay,
    Don't worry. There is a solution for everything.If it is not heavy, dry up in the sun outside.You can use hair drier if it is only a small area.Some vaccuum cleaners suck water.First remove it from that place.Otherwise fungus will form and it will smell bad.

    trye renting a shop vaccuum .its squeezes out really well. you can try in lowes and home depot.

    you can try steaming ur carpet. you can rent this eqipment from walmart

    Thank you all for your suggestions..I have bought a water sucker from walmart for 23$.
    as one of our friend said,the place started smelling bad so bought a carpet powder also..once again thxx a lot sweet friends..Bow
