Help Needed - Weight loss suggestions, not able to go to gym

    Hi Everyone,

    This is Nisha from Mumbai. I'm new to this site. Heard from my friends that its very useful forum for women from all walks.I too need some help from u all.
    It is that my sister-in-law wanted to have a weight-loss programme in any gyms here. but she is very shy as a person, so she hesitates to go to gyms where these days its combined for guys n gals. Can anyone suggest me some tips to help her to have a weight loss.

    Hey Nisha,

    Try this

    Breakfast
    1. 2 Bread slice's ( either make sandwich with egg omelet/turkey/or simply veggies) OR Oats with low fat milk ans no sugar OR Cereals with less milk.
    Lunch - Make various kind of salads - include protein i.e. chicken, egg, etc and add lot of vegetables & nuts.
    2. A cup of flavored rice Or brown rice pulao.
    3. Veg or chicken frankie ( yummy,tasty and filling)
    4.Chapati or pulka with more of side dish made of vegetables.
    5.Sabudaana upma, Poha or low calorie Indian food like Idli etc..,
    6.BHel pori with lot of veggies and less bhel.

    Evening snacks
    Any snack with less than 200 calories.

    Dinner
    Pulka,2 idli's or just plain oats.( you can always make oats idli,dosa etc for variation)

    I did this post pregnancy and almost lost 5-10 lbs in just 1 month!!
    I coupled up with some belly dancing, working out in gym for 20 mts every day or simply walking for half hour daily.
    Early morning walks are better though.
    Just remember you are what you eat = so try and reduce the intake of sugars, Oil, sweets, soda and rice.
    Try to reduce the portion when you eat out..
