Help - considering moving to Burlington / Oakville ontario

Hi Sonu

I hope you dont mind me contacting you.

I am from the UK, we have 2 children aged 5 nd 3 months and are considering moving to Burlington/Oakville thru my husbands work.

We have extended family in Brampton but if we were to relocate it would have to one of the above as these are closer to the office/company my hubby works for.

Its a big move and my biggest concern is my 5 year old son, could you possibly tell me about the schools and accomodation in the area.

Also are there a lot of punjabis in the area as well as a sikh temple - as roots and values are also important to us.

Are there mny Indians in Burlington - indian stores for food etc

Hi there is an indian store in Burlington. There are indians in burlington but not as many as in Brampton. Schools are good , I am not sure if there is a sikh temple but I can find that for you. We're waiting for the Canadian office to confirm
Opportunities but there is a possibility we may move

So a little worried how the move may affect him

There are Public schools which have Junior kinder.G and Senior K.G . I think your son will go in Senior KG. Depending on which area you choose to live will determine which school your son will go to. Within burlington there are boundries for each school.
South of Burlington is older burlington & north is newer side. Burlington is not as big as Brampton but its big enough.

Hi,

I will be moving to Burlington, Ontario in March 2013. Was wondering someone share their experience about good preschools? Is burlington better or Oakville better place in terms of good schools, easy commute to burlington office, rental homes, facilities & good community. Please provide some names of good preschools & also some rental homes around.
