    Hi Pooja and radhee,

Good to see you ladies doing alright. I hope other mommies are also doing fine.I had my ultrasound last week.My gyn wanted one last week because during my previous ultrasound he found my baby measuring smaller and wanted to check for any growth abnormalities. Thankfully, the growth was normal and symmetrical. Me and my hubby were both very small babies at the time of birth. So the gyn saw genetics coming here! I was so scared until I saw the results and assured everything was fine. My baby's kicks are like punches these days and am wondering what she is doing insideBig Laugh! I am growing lazy and tired these days..wondering if last trimester woes have caught on!! The energy burst during second trimester is fading now. Are you ladies feeling the same?
When are you ladies planning on your baby shower??
For the last couple of days, I am nursing a sore throat and wish for it to go away. That's it from my end, ladies.

HAPPY PREGNANCY TO ALL MOMS-TO -BE!!

    Hello All,

How are you all doing? My EDD is Sept 22.

I have heard that first baby most of the times are born after a week from due date. Any idea how much true is this?

    Regards,

I think we are all counting down the days and waiting for D-day :)

I am so ready to get this kid out of me. At 34 weeks, he is measuring 1 week ahead so I am hoping he comes out earlier than my due date. I have lots of aches and pains in all my body parts, can't sleep for more than 3 hours at a time and am constantly hungry, thus gaining weight like crazy. I have been working from home these past 5 months but even computer work for more than 2 hours at a time is tedious. Then I started having some spotting so the doc has advised me not to even walk around the house too much. ahh the joys of pregnancy!

    Hi Megha,

Welcome here! As Pooja had mentioned, I am also too eager to get this baby out!! Going through last trimester woes!! I feel tired all the time and get exhausted soon. The heat here is sapping my energy and keeping me down. The weather has just got a bit cooler for a couple of days. I sometimes feel sleepy most of the time and wondering if it's the harmones or have I grown lazy. I just want the baby out and sleep in a variety of positions that I have not been able to do with my growing belly. Counting the days right now!!

    Happy Pregnancy!!

Same here ladies. I am in my 33 week. I have become so lazy now; don't want to cook food and go for a walk; always wanna lie down on couch and watch TV. :) This all started a week ago. Before that i was so active.

    Regards,

Megha what you are experiencing is totally normal. Anyways, we are getting so big these days that we need to be off our feet as much as possible. Conserve your energy and sleep cause there won't be much for the first few weeks after the baby arrives!

My latest woe is swelling in the legs and a bit of elevated blood pressure and my doc has told me to do nothing but keep lying down all day ... and that is so hard for me cause I am normally an active person. But I am glad I did all my shopping early and one trip to babies r us yesterday took care of the last minute items. Baby is welcome to show up now :)

Have you guys set up the nursery? Mine will be co-sleeping with me so we got a co-sleeper but my hubby still has to put it together. Ditto for the changing table.

    Take care all september mommies!

    Pooja

    Hi Pooja,

I haven't shopped for baby yet. I am browsing for stuff on internet and had been to babiesRus last month but didn't buy anything. I think it may be too early, I am planning to buy stuff when will enter in my 9th month.....I am thinking of only buying car seat & stroller, bottles(for water), clothes, balankets, diapers and bathing stuff for baby BEFORE BIRTH.....All other stuff I am planning on buying later as need arrives. Its a huge list I know, baby monitor, breast pump.....but I guess these things can wait for couple of weeks after baby is born. Aaso as I don't know what I am having (boy/girl), I am thinking of setting a nersery AFTER BIRTH; will paint room and get furniture. I have already selected furniture and other items, just not buying it. Any other suggestions? Am I forgetting something important that the baby needs right away and am not buying before birth?

    Regards,

Megha .. last month of pregnancy can be riddled with unexpected complications so it may be a good idea to get your shopping completed by 35th week. You'll get tired very soon too and may not be upto shopping after that .. unless you buy everything on the internet ;-)

And you may not be upto shopping after the baby is born .. he/she may be keeping you on your toes all the time and you'd have to rely on hubby to do the shopping!

You'll definitely need the car seat to bring home baby from hospital. And incase baby has latching problems, you will need a pump. Better safe than sorry!

Here is the list of bare essentials stuff I got... mainly with inputs from my friends who have had babies recently.
