    Just thought I would introduce myself here as well (I've already done the standard intro in the newbie area), since this is where I'll probably be posting most often. I'm a new mom - with a 3 mnth old son - living in Erode, TN, India. I was brought up in Chennai and only moved here less than a year back so not many friends locally yet. I used to work (doctor) before and now stay home with the baby. I found this site quite by chance and really liked it. Hope to get to know some of you well and make some friends here.

    You are most WELCOME TO IL:wave , A WONDERFUL SITE FOR US.

    As Shanti said all old and new mothers have queries with Vanathi, a paed.
    Vanathi herself being a new mother will get lots and lots informations from most experienced mothers and grandmothers in IL.

    Thanks for the warm welcome. Of course I'm willing to help any mothers out with queries in whatever way I can. And as Padma so rightly pointed out I' going to need lots of help and advice from all you experienced mothers and grandmas. Its a win-win thing! :thumbsup
