Heavy Blood Clot During Periods

hi..

I hav regular periods... but i hav heavy blood clots during my periods... i had periods for 3-4 days but with heavy bleeding & clotting... Is this normal ??? can some one advise me...

Hi. I too had this for many years. Since there were no side effects like exhaustion or feeling tired, it did not go in for any treatment. But what to do from the age of 13 till date (now I am 49), I have been having very heavy periods and have always been lean (weighing only 55 for all these years).

Hence if u don't have any other associated problem, I think u should be normal. Anyway it is always better to consult a gyneac. Isn't it?

Hi,

Even I had heavy periods, clotting, cramps, unbearable pain and lasted for 6 days till now, i consulted many gynoes but no help. Finally i found a good gyno and on scanning they found that i has endometrial polyp due to which all thee problems i have..later she gave few tablets after which now i do not have that polyp anymore..

even the pain has reduced so much, no much clotting ..thank god :bowdown..this bleeding can be hereditary as well, my aunt had a smilar problem so even I have.

I would suggest you to consult a good gynoe.

Thanks a lot Soldier & Pandusk ... i don't have any other prob but feel very much weakness during this period so thought to discuss ..is this normal or not...
