    Dear All,

    While we are counting down for the new year 2016, its time to think of healthy resolutions. Members here for a long time must be aware of the weight loss friends group since 2013. It was a huge success that a bunch ful of enthusiastic friends joined together and were able to shed few pounds. We became a family and now we invite others too to join hands with us in keeping us fit.

    Join us and share your thoughts, success and inspirations towards healthy life style.

    count me in too! I'm in other threads as well. I started nov'14 , and with lots of ups and down I'm almost 12 kgs down . I'm hoping to lose another 13kg this year.

    Hi All, although I do not have any weight issues I have some info I would like to share. Remember that to lose 1 pound, you need to burn 3500 calories. Also, try not to consume less than 1200 calories a day. Eat more whole foods and eat 6 small meals to boost metabolism. Constipation needs to go, and you need to drink more water. Maintain a food diary. If you don't have health issues, try having triphala chooran daily.

    Hello All,

    I'm in...

    Mathi, Whatever you said is true.. We are a family now n we will join hands to lose those stubborn weight this year. Let's shed those extra weight through healthy lifestyle n exercise.

    What are the plans?

    Some suggestions from my side:

    1. Update weight every Monday - Weigh yourself once you wake up in the morning after loo before eating anything.

    2. Reduce junk n increase salad , veggies n fruits.

    3. Include 30 mins of cardio or any form of exercise at least 5 days a week.

    Shall we start on Jan 4??

    Let's wait for others to join in.
